Grandfather's Workbench
by Joseph Vega

My Grandfather
at his workbench;
tool marked and worn;
fashioned,
wrought
and formed.
Brilliancy
in the light.
Everything he worked
was unmatched.
Lessons learned with
hammer and awl.
