Honey Raspberry Spritzer
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St. John
1⁄3 cup honey
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 lime, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
3 cups orange juice
3 cups Champagne, Blanc de Blanc or soda water
Ice
Place the honey, berries, citrus fruits and orange juice
in a pitcher. With a potato masher or wooden spoon, press
down on the fruit to juice and muddle with the honey.
Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours
When ready to serve, add Champagne or sparkling wine and ice.
Mix and serve.
For a non-alcoholic version just use soda water.
