In the mist of the morning sunlight
Trees swayed in the wind,
Water flowed among the stones
An old man did tai chi,

Moving, forward and backward,
Left and right, slow and steady,
No wasted motions,
Connected to the Earth

Like the trees swaying in the wind,
And the water that flowed among the stones.
