Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
from the kitchen of Sharmagne Leland-St. John
3 cups half and half
10 drops red food coloring (approximately)
Whipped cream
Crumbled red velvet cupcake
Pour the half and half into a saucepan over medium
heat.
Add chocolate chips and stir frequently, until they
have completely melted.
Add the red food coloring, a few drops at a time, and
blend until you've reached your desired shade of red.
Pour into warmed mugs. Top with fresh whipped cream
and crumbled red velvet cake or cupcake.
