She stood before the war machine
That mocks the ideals of
Freedom and Justice for all

An American woman with no flag
A small lone figure with no arms to bear
Spoke for those with no voice
The sorrow of their dispersion

Brave Gentiles once gave their lives
Saved forsaken Jews from Hitler's machine
Now Zion struts its war machine
Is the Star of David the new Swastika
